This Walther PP is a Luftwaffe contract overrun, meaning it was made in case one of the other pistols failed inspection. We can see that it is a specialty contract due to the way the magazines are serialized, your average Walther PP has no serialized magazines. We know this one was not officially issued to the German military during WW2 because it lacks the Waffenampt inspection proofs - WaA359.
