This WW2 German Luger P.08, often called the "Black Widow" by collectors due to the late production Bakelite grips was captured by a Canadian soldier during the Second World War and brought home as a souvenir. The Luger P.08s main production lines were shut down in 1942 making this a highly sought after final run of pistols with only 98,000 being made in 1942 compared to over 900,000 Luger P.08s made during the Nazi era.
